My money
Money you are holding for the masjid: cash people gave you, and money paid into your own UPI or bank, until you hand it over.
What it does
- You are holding: your total across all funds.
- Grouped by fund (General, Zakat, Fitr, each madrasa), one row per account: Cash in hand, your UPI, your bank account.
- Cash in hand is made for you the first time you collect cash.
- + Account adds your own UPI or bank account for a fund, so you can choose it when collecting.
- Hand over moves money to a masjid account, or to another of your own accounts in the same fund.
- Tap an account to see its history: every amount in and out, when, and the balance after.
- An own UPI or bank account can be closed when it holds nothing.
- Every staff user has My money. You can only collect into, pay from and hand over your own accounts.
Add your own UPI or bank account
- Open More → My money.
- Tap + Account at the top.
- Under For, choose the fund (for example General, or a madrasa).
- Choose the Type (My UPI or My bank account) and give it a Name, for example "My GPay".
- Tap Save. It now appears under Where is the money? when you collect for that fund.
Hand over money you are holding
- Open My money.
- Find the account with money in it and tap Hand over.
- Choose To: a masjid account, or another of your accounts.
- Check the Amount and add a Note, for example the bank slip number.
- Tap Hand over. Your balance goes down and the masjid account goes up.
See your history
- Open My money.
- Tap an account name, for example Cash in hand.
- Scroll the list: green is money in, red is money out, with the balance after each line.
Questions
Why is the money I collected not in the masjid account?
Cash collected with In my hand stays with you until you hand it over. This keeps the record true to where the money really is.
I paid an expense from my own cash. How is that shown?
When paying out, choose From my hand. The money comes out of your cash in hand, so your holding goes down.
